Per court documents, Laura M. Owens and her mother hired Lone Cactus Construction to renovate the horse facilities at their Arizona home in late December 2020. Between March 2021 and June 2021, Lone Cactus completed some of the renovations. Owens filed a civil complaint against Lone Cactus on August 9, 2021. A judgement was entered in favor of Owens & Naylor in March 2023.
