This wiki page is dedicated to shedding light on Laura M. Owens' alleged abuse of the legal system and human decency to coerce men into entering relationships with her.

To date, Laura M. Owens has entered the court system multiple times and has used the police system against at least 3 men she has had sexual encounters with. Each victim has had a unique relationship/encounter with Owens, ranging from an actual relationship to a one-night stand. After these men respectively ended their time with Owens and acknowledged that they didn't want to pursue her further, she either claimed that they abused her, that she was pregnant with their child(ren), or both. Following those claims, she enters the legal system to attempt to prove her claims with unconvincing evidence.

Laura M. Owens is currently in a legal battle with Clayton Echard, with whom she engaged in oral sex one evening in May 2023. When he didn't want to pursue a relationship with her, Owens claimed she was pregnant with twins from their oral sex encounter. Find more in-depth information below and see the public court documents here.

Per court documents, Marraccini and Laura M. Owens' began a relationship in early 2016, which Marraccini tried to end later that year. Over the next two years, among others, she threatened suicide, feigned a pregnancy with his child, stalked him, and claimed he physically and sexually abused her causing permanent injuries. She filed a domestic violence suit against him in 2018. In 2022, Owens allegedly described him in a TedX talk about how a note from a stranger convinced her to leave her abusive boyfriend.

Greg Gillespie

Main article: Greg Gillespie & Laura M. Owens - Timeline of Events

Per court documents, Gillespie and Laura M. Owens went on 3 dates during the summer of 2021. When Gillespie tried to end their brief encounter, Owens claimed that she was pregnant with twins from their one sexual encounter. She claimed that she would have an abortion if he committed to loving her and having a relationship with her. When he refused, Owens took him to court. They went back and forth within the court system for 2+ years, having only recently concluded the legal battle.

Lone Cactus Construction

Per court documents, Laura M. Owens and her mother hired Lone Cactus Construction to renovate the horse facilities at their Arizona home in late December 2020.  Between March 2021 and June 2021, Lone Cactus completed some of the renovations. Owens filed a civil complaint against Lone Cactus on August 9, 2021. A judgement was entered in favor of Owens in March 2023.

Clayton Echard

Main article: Clayton Echard & Laura M. Owens - Timeline of Events

Per court documents and articles/interviews from both Laura M. Owens and Echard, they had a brief encounter on May 20, 2023, in which she performed oral sex on him twice. When he tried to end things the very next day, she was distraught and refused to accept it. 11 days after their encounter, Owens claimed she was pregnant from the oral sex that occurred, and tried to force him into dating her. When he still refused, she took him to court to establish a parenting plan. Both Owens and Echard obtained orders of protection against one another, and she testified in court in November that she was 24 weeks pregnant and had just seen her doctor a few days prior. As of December 2023, she claims that she's "no longer pregnant", with no reasoning as to what happened to alleged twins.

Dave Neal

Main article: Dave Neal & Laura M. Owens - Timeline of Events

Dave Neal is a stand up comedian and podcaster who specializes in Bachelor news. As he started covering this case, Laura M. Owens threatened him with a lawsuit over email and claimed he would have "blood on his hands" if she were to harm herself due to his coverage. Neal continued to cover the cases and Owens attempted to get a restraining order against him that was denied on grounds of free speech. She later sued him for civil harassment, a case she later settled after he agreed to sign a statement that he would not incite threats against her. Since the beginning of his coverage, Neal has never mentioned her name on his channel and has repeatedly asked his viewers to not contact her.

Liz Neptune

Liz posted a TikTok that Ms. Owens found offensive and subsequently Ms. Owens sent Liz Neptune a Cease and Desist. When Liz didn’t take the video down, Ms. Owens contacted Liz Neptune’s local police department, in another state, to accuse Liz of harassment. The full conversation between Ms. Owens and the police there has not been shared yet.

Unsubstantiated Allegations, Claims, and Theories

Chase Jay Jones

There is a belief that Laura M. Owens impersonated a Howard University journalism student, by the name of Chase Jay Jones, in an attempt to get Echard canceled for having participated in a TikTok dance challenge featuring a song with the "n-word" in it. After this theory began to circulate, Jones' identity was scrubbed from the internet. The IP address that Chase Jay Jones used was traced back to the region Owens lives in. Source: All Ears Podcast episode with Dave Neal

In a later update on Jones, Dave Neal states, "Chase Jay Jones 100% joined my Patreon October 19th. I have this proof that they were lurking in there for several weeks. We tried to get their billing info from Patreon, who proved to be UTTERLY USELESS. Even with a court ordered subpoena, they weren’t able to find CJJ in their database. This person has vanished from the world. They either had their data scrubbed, or they’re hiding under a different username. All efforts are being taken to find their identity. More on that later."

When Neal's lawyer attempted to subpoena Jones' Patreon and Google records, Jones sent two motions to quash the subpoena.[2] Neal's lawyer contacted Jones' several times to get on a video call to verify their identity, and they would drop the whole thing. Jones never responded.

Greg Gillespie

Greg Gillespie believes that Laura M. Owens was not actually pregnant with his twins, nor was she ever, despite her claims.

Laura M. Owens alleges that Gillespie hacked into her iMessage in 2021, sending himself the original faked sonogram. In 2023, Laura M. Owens alleges that Gillespie hacked her email account - she further alleges that Gillespie had hacked into her email account and distributed the fake sonogram video depicting her alleged twins with Clayton Echard to the press.

Laura M. Owens also claims, in an August 2022 message directly to the judge, that Gillespie and his attorney, Gregg Woodnick, were behind an alleged physical attack on her that allegedly happened on March 4, 2022. There are no public documents to support this claim and she did not pursue this any further.

Clayton Echard

Clayton Echard, like Greg Gillespie, believes that Laura M. Owens was never pregnant with his twins, despite her claims.

Echard is still paying for legal representation; he is actively several thousand dollars in debt over this. If you’d like to donate, you can do so here.

Disclaimers

This timeline is now being hosted here on JusticeForClayton.com after the original timeline, posted to Reddit, was taken down along with the subsequent repost of the content on Medium (archive.org link). This page cites public court records and, except for the clearly delimited speculation at the bottom, only includes verifiable facts. We will happily update this page to include any substantive evidence proving a pregnancy and Clayton Echard's paternity, but a screenshot of a doctor's appointment doesn't meet any reasonable standard. The operator of this site claims no authorship over the content below and is simply rehosting it for public accountability.

As of 2/18/2024, this site's web host has received two cease and desist notices from Owens, claiming that this site is operated by one or more of Marraccini, Gillespie, or Echard and that wild legal theories compel the host to abide by her orders of protection against them. Legal fantasy notwithstanding, this site is not operated by any of those individuals. As an anonymous wiki, the operators cannot be sure that those individuals are not among our users, but as long as contributions are justified by valid citations, we welcome anyone's contribution. This wiki aims to be a collected summary of citations of independently verifiable sources. We will revise its content in response to credible evidence as more is made available. The intent of this wiki is not to harass or defame anyone, but rather to preserve important public information that has been repeatedly removed from other sites under abusive takedown notices.
